Remington School of Nursing - Jan 2016

Hi all! I was curious if anyone is applying for the January 2016 accelerated program at Remington College School of Nursing in Lake Mary, FL. I believe I handed in all of the paperwork. I called and said they were waiting on my transcript to be received and it's on the way.

Does anyone know how long it takes for them to make a decision? I know the early app deadline is October 5th, but I'm wondering how soon after it will be.

Congrats guys! I havent heard anything back yet...Can I ask when you guys applied? Like the date the school recieved the completed app?

magz89 thanks a million,i will be moving from Houston and will need an affordable place to stay ,living in that area can you be of help ?like roommates affordable apt etc

@lbfbsn Sure, I don't know anyone looking for a roommate at the moment. I live on the west side of Orlando which is about 40 minutes away from the school but I don't mind the drive and the apartment aren't too expensive and the area isn't bad. If you want to live closer you might want to look at apartments around Altamonte springs, lake mary, or Sanford. I'm not sure how much the apartments are in that area but it's nice and closer of course. Your best bet will be to get with someone else going to the school that's looking for a roommate as well. Have you joined the Facebook page for the class? you should so you know who's looking for roommate, and also (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) emailed some forms which included links to apartments in the area, you should take a look at them.

I turned in my application Nov. 30th. I don't know if you did or did not, but maybe you should email her @Calihiker and @ibfbsn I live in Casselberry and it's reasonable prices, takes about 20min for me to get to the school; look into that area along with Altamonte Springs.

Congrats to everyone newly accepted! Unfortunate you guys have so little time to prepare before orientation but at least all the paperwork isn't due until classes start judging by the email she sent us today!

I also turned in my application on first week of November. I live in Tampa, Fl. I didn't do well on my Teas. So I really don't know what to expect. Have you had your interview yet?

@prezabakhsh I also turned in my application around Nov 18th. I haven't heard anything back and I continue to ask (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME)about my application and she continues to say that it is still under review. I find that funny, as people that applied much later than me have already got in. So I'm assuming that I was not accepted, wish they could just be professional about it and tell me and stop wasting my time waiting for a reply!
