Remington School of Nursing - Jan 2016

Hi all! I was curious if anyone is applying for the January 2016 accelerated program at Remington College School of Nursing in Lake Mary, FL. I believe I handed in all of the paperwork. I called and said they were waiting on my transcript to be received and it's on the way.

Does anyone know how long it takes for them to make a decision? I know the early app deadline is October 5th, but I'm wondering how soon after it will be.

I also applied a couple weeks ago and haven't heard anything back. I'm fearing that I did not get in, as the program starts next month!

@Calihiker I thought I was the only one feeling that way lol. I emailed (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) just to verify that I turned everything in. She told me I was missing a waiver (which I emailed to her) and the interview; she said someone will be contacting me to schedule it. However, at the bottom of the email she wrote, the admissions committee will be meeting this week and I will be updated once a decision has been made, but I haven't even been contacted to schedule an interview yet. SOOOOO, I'm so confused and don't know what to expect. It's so stressful lol

Have you tried emailing her? Can anyone who already received an early acceptance tell us what to expect once we have submitted the application?

I went through the same things as you. I have been in contact with her and I asked about the status of my application last Friday. She told me that the admissions committee would be releasing their decisions within the next two weeks. That gives very little time to prepare even if we are admitted, which sucks. But honestly I have a feeling that I wasn't admitted, just wished I could get a response already if that was the case. My overall gpa is 2.8, science gpa is 3.5, and TEAS is 76%.

@Calihiker, don't count yourself out just yet, I know it's frustrating waiting and we just have to have faith (easier said than done lol), but I know someone who got in and didn't have an awesome gpa, so that lets me know it's not solely about grades. I just want a freaking email to schedule an interview so I can feel a little better lol.

Hey @ashaun (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) emailed me yesterday and said they were reviewing my application this week. I still have to send my final transcript cause I'm taking my last prereq. I'm so anxious!!!!!

@calihiker Don't lose hope, you did way better than me in the Teas :/ I'm just trying to stay positive and hoping for the best.

I got accepted too,do i need to call (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) to schedule my interview or email her,have people started thinking of housing?
