has anyone enrolled in the inaugural accelerated bsn class that started january 2009? what are your impressions so far?

I believe that if a program is nationally accredited then any other nationally accredited school will accept the credits. Both Reminton and UCF are CCNE accredited so I don't understand why they would not take the credits. Even if a few schools will not take the credits there are always others that will, if there are none in your area and you cannot move there are online MSN programs.

I think you can have the same problems with a regionally accredited school if you plan on moving to another state or even attempt to go to a nationally accredited MSN program. Also, this is a second degree program, I have found some MSN programs that only require a science bachelors and an RN for admittance.

Hi! I applied for the July 2011 class. I hope to hear from them soon because they extended the deadline to July 10th. I wanted to hear from the people who were able to get in because I really want to get in. I am trying to have faith, but I hate the suspense!! Does anyone know what kind of students they typically accept in regards to GPA and TEAS score?

hello all! i found nice apartments at Hidden Valley, just a few miles from the school, they are actually like townhouses, with lots of mature trees. around $900 for a 2/2. Check craigslist. They are owned by individuals so you could probably negotiate the rent since people love to rent to nursing students. You have a lot of credibility. When looking for housing and i mention i am a nursing student, they bypass the credit check, lol!

I got accepted to Remington, but I decided to go to another school. It is only 12k, and 3 semesters long with a long winter and summer break.

good luck to you all! i really wanted to go to Remington, but I really can't justify the 30k when I can go for 12k. :)

I noticed that you said there was another school that you were consdering that was alot cheaper. Do you mind telling me the name of that school? I want to keep my options open. Thank you so much!

I just got my acceptance letter today! They extended the deadline but for everyone who had their application (and interview) complete they decided the end of last week.

Hi Everyone,

I applied for the July 2011 class and have been anxiously waiting to hear back...I know they extended the deadline until this Friday, so I am assuming they will contact everyone once the deadline has closed. I was just curious what the process was like for everyone who has already been accepted. How did they notify you for your interview. Did they email? Call? And how long after your interview did you get an acceptance letter? I'm from out of state and am getting nervous about finding a place to live etc in this short amount of time if I am to get it..

Any info would be greatly appreciated!! :)

There are cheap 1 bedroom apartments next to the health department just a few minutes from school. The seniors will give you a list of recommended apartment complexes and rentals at orientation as well, which should be around July 7 & 8. You'll have plenty of time to find a place to live. No worries :)

I contacted them to get my interview set up. I don't think when you find out if you got accepted has anything to do with the interview, it just has to be done before they meet to decide who they are going to accept.

Kelli - Thanks for the info. I sent them an email about interviewing. I didn't realize that was the process. How did your interview go? Did you get accepted after the interview? If so - how long did it take you to hear from them?
