Remington College of Nursing - Orlando

Published

This program seems to be the most promising. I would like go into the army with their BSN but the program is not regionally accredited. I already have my bachelor's degree in another field would it matter if my BSN is not regionally accredited?

I am also in the same boat.I have Masters from other country.I really wanted to become RN,but Remington collge has no accreditation and too expensive for my budget...those are my concerns...

Please if you come across with any info.let me know

If you don't mind r u done with your pre reqs?

I haven't completed all my prerequisites but my only concern is getting the RN license. A nurse in NYC makes about 75-80 a year so paying them back wouldn't be too much of an issue. In this economy the medical field is a smart move. As for their accreditation as long as you get your RN license it doesn't matter. Its not like you don't have your masters. I wouldn't be going to this school unless their are no other option. UCF has already deined me because of my low GPA. If you have other options please take them but a one year accelerated program works for me. 30,000 is alot of money but student loans are often the best investment you can make. Loan interest rates are often low and tax deductable which is a good thing when you move into a higher earning bracket.

this school is too new i would not put my money on it!

keiser is a great school! if you are looking for an accelerated program, having a master would knowdo down most of the pre requisites leaving you with basicaly anatomy physiology and microbiology- wich you can get it all done in 3 months, and then take 12 months to graduate!

Thanks for your suggetions.

Question for Santos

Does Keiser have Accelerated BSN for other graduates?when i checked online,i didn't see any thing like ABSN,only RN-BSN.And also how much is the tution cost for associate degree in nursing at Keiser? Please let me know..I live in Orlando too ..in celebration

Ok the program is a 24 month ADN program.

10 of this 24 months are the pre requisites and if you have them already you only go for 14 months!

it will cost you about 6000 a semester then again (3 semesters is what you need + pre reqs)

if you are in a hurry i recomend the 24 month program, if not, just take those classes at valencia and seminole (instead of 10 months will take you about 1 year and a half including summer) but it will be cheaper...

i just could not do that i am on my last pre req now, and in january i start my core classes!

they also have a ADN -BNS online program...

i live like 6 miles from celebration and would love to work in that hospital!

Did anyone get accepted here yet?
