Try Banner Professional Registry or Abrazo Flex Pool. These are the only jobs that are gung ho hiring. I guess the hospitals make out by not having to pay benefits and not having outside registry work the hospitals. I have been looking since March and have had my fair share of no call backs too! It is very discouraging.
Wow I was came on here to write the same thing! I'm relocating too and I really wanted to be there by now but I'm not getting any calls back either. One job I applied for back on 4/7 and on 5/5 I see it listed on careerbuilder! I do NICU 3 and it was a NICU 2 position. I called the recruiter and he says they're not going to call you because you don't have level 2 experience. I said but I have level 3 and he says whats the difference. I said level 3 is higher than level 2 its micropreemies, vents and osillators! He says but you don't have level 2 experience. I said when you do level 3 you do level 2 so he says ok I'll forward your resume to the manager. Well 2 days later the position was gone after my application sat there for a month! I have also been looking since March. Good luck
I THINK jobs are loosening up. I have 3 interviews this week! From what I can see, Banner west side hospitals (the old Sun City hospitals) are hiring. Just apply for anything that interests you at Banner. There are many jobs to choose from. The hardest thing is getting the HR office to submit your app to a manager.
We are relocating too. It's been months since I applied, and my application flew immediately from HR to the Director within 2 days, but then it's stopped there. She has not called me. I have extensive experience. Not sure what to do since they don't seem to be in any hurry to hire. It's just not like that in AR and TX where there are jobs for the picking!
Anything new? I have been going on many interviews.
One of my interview questions now is how many people are you interviewing for this position? Lowest number I have seen is 6. Highest number I have seen is 18.
I had one recruiter that wouldn't even forward my application/resume to a bunch of tele positions because I "don't have tele experience." You gotta be kidding me I have a CCRN and that's not good enough for tele? Ay Ay Ay when is this "recession" going to end?

Hi! I'm just looking for some help. We are relocating to the Phoenix area, but I'm not getting any call backs from jobs I've applied for. Is anyone out there hiring? I see jobs posted and apply but getting a recruiter to call is like pulling teeth. I have 7 years nursing experience in Women's and Children's health and a hat full of certifications, but can't seem to get my foot in the door. Does anyone have any suggestions??
Thanks!
Karen
