Hi nurses, I’m relocating to Arizona and I have 2 offers, one from Banner Health and the other from Honor Health. Could you all please give me your input on both organizations and why you would pick one over the other? Thanks!

Banner has really expanded in the last 5-10 years. They own most of the hospitals in Tucson and have a large presence in Phoenix and other cities in Arizona. They have a good reputation with patients and as a place to work for. Honor Health is smaller and is only in the northern part of the state. I do not really know anything about them.

I work for Banner in Tucson. It's a large system, with many options for locations in the Phoenix area as well as two in Tucson. Honor health has a presence in Phoenix as well as N. AZ. I'm happy at Banner. Benefits are a little pricy but a great coverage network. If you have any ??'s PM me.

Hello!!! I’m in the process of applying to both banner south campus (north did not have med surg positions available for day shift right now) and at TMC. Do you have any comparisons between banner south and TMC you could share? Are you at the south campus of banner or the newer one? I’m interested in how many low census call offs there are, particularly in the summer.... and about which medical benefits start. Any information you have would be appreciated greatly!
Banner UMC Tucson Main campus has med surg spots open. I'm not sure about low census but it is usually far and few between in Med surg. I do know that they are actively recruiting nurses for the unit currently. I'll PM you the other info.

Are you a new graduate? I am hoping to apply to Banner in AZ as well as a new grad, but I am not from AZ.
