Hi everyone!!!
Ok ...please assist!!
I have applied to the NBWA for registration.
I was asked to do so by the Hospital in Perth that offered me an RN post after a telephonic interview!! They have sponsored the visa - 457visa which includes my family!!!!!:yeah:
To help matters I did the IELTS
- scores: Listening 8, Reading 8, Writing 7.5. & Speaking 9
- overall band score = 8:smokin:
I qualified in 2003 (RN). I have worked in the ICU's.
I am presently working as a Medical Advisor (office bound), BUT on weekends I work part-time at the TRAUMA ICU at one of the private hospitals. So I am still clinically nursing.
Do you think that the NBWA will accept this and Register me - I really do not have the money to do the Bridging course....IF I DID have the money I would not need to move to Australia to make a better life for my kids and hubby!!:redbeathe:redpinkhe:heartbeat. I will do anything for them!!
Please respond.

How's your application for registration to NMBWA? By now, you must have received your assessment results. I have read that there is a distance learning module for the bridging program of NMBWA applicants and this will only cost AUD2,200 + 100. Only after passing this module will you be required to go to Perth to attend the 3 days clinical workshop and a 160 hr clinical practice. I hope we can change notes because I am applying for registration with NMBWA too.
Good luck to us. God bless.:)
I already have the letter of eligibility from NMBWA. I'm going to lodge my application for Department of Health today but I plan to take both theoretical and clinicals there. The distance learning can start anytime. The 3 days clinical workshop and 160 hr clinical practice have to be done there. Hope this helps!
I am happy for you. I am still awaiting for my assessment decision from the Board. If the result will be positive, I will be taking the theoretical module here via distance learning mode and will fly to Perth for the 3 days clinical workshop and 160 hr clinical training. Good luck and see you there.
How many weeks did it take you to receive your assessment decision?
Thanks for the speedy reply. God bless.:wink2:
