Hi All - I am applying to the Regis University (Denver, CO) ABSN program for the second time. I wanted to start a feed here for anyone who is RE applying for the program (any cohort welcome). Feel free to share feedback on your experience reapplying, ask questions, share acceptance news, etc.
Best of luck to you all! Persistence is key ?

Hi I just saw your post! I was thinking about applying to their ABSN program for Jan 2022. I was wondering if you were comfortable sharing your stat or what you felt like might've kept you from getting in the first time? I am a little nervous to apply because stats can be competitive and I think I have pretty OK stats but not crazy good like other applicants from previous years but I have like over 2500 hrs of patient care experience etc so I am hoping their process is also hollistic! Good luck! I know youll do great!
Hi there,
I have no problem being honest if it's helpful. To answer your question, my grades are fairly competitive. I was previously enrolled in a program similar to the ABSN but at the master's level, which I didn't complete. My guess is that this along with limited clinical experience was what made other candidates a better fit for the program.
If you're thinking about reapplying I say go for it. I hear stories about people who had to be very persistent in order to get the education opportunities that they wanted but they eventually got there!
Good luck to you as well :)
