Hi everyone. I got accepted into Regis College's online FNP for Summer 2017. Will start May 1st! Anybody who has attended Regis on campus or is currently attending their online NP? I know this is probably their second year to offer the online however I want to know how were your experience with them. Thanks!
Most classes don't have a recorded lecture, while the pharmacology class I'm taking now does have links to recorded lectures...recorded by Professor Fink from another school in Los Angeles. You can look him up on youtube and listen to his lectures tuition-free.
That's just downright shocking. Students are paying ~$40k-50k for this program that (1) doesn't provide preceptors and (2) lazily outsources lectures to youtube professors?
Nothing against professor Fink, but your school is charging you tuition and paying professors that don't even record lectures tailored to the school's students?
Schools like these should never receive accreditation. I think you need to write a letter to the school as well as the accreditation agency. Perhaps even pursue a refund.
Hi, I am starting with Regis College PMHNP online as of 4/30/18 NU 605 concepts in nursing leadership

Hi, I am also starting post MSN Psych np program this summer 2018 and I am taking NU 605 as of 4/30/18 did you have to take this course if so how was it? how about the program in general I am pretty nervous attending Regis College because there's very little info online and I want to feel comfortable about attending this school since it is very expensive.
Hello,
The psychiatric nurse practitioner program. (PMHNP)is 2 yrs and 4 months. The length varies depending on which program or type of practitioner you want to be. I'm about half way through my second class, it's not hard but very time consuming. About 20-30 hours per week.
Hope this helps,
Jennifer

Can I email you and get more information on Regis? Are you still having a good experience? I'm starting to consider applying for a different school because the negative reviews are freaking me out a bit.
Thanks, Jennifer
