Hey! Just wondering if there are other people out there who have applied for early decision at Regis College in Weston Mass for 2011.
I seem to be checking this on a daily basis now and haven't seen any postings for the Accelerated BSN/MSN for fall 2011. Had my interview the week before Thanksgiving, all my application materials were confirmed prior to the December 6th deadline.
If you have or haven't heard anything, would be nice to know I'm not the only one checking this! :)
Keeping my fingers and toes crossed! Regis is my number 1 choice!
Thanks for posting Hiking78. Sorry to hear you got waitlisted- I wonder if I'm in the same boat... I still haven't heard anything. From reading posts from last year, it seems like they pulled off the wait list quite a bit, but this year seems different in the reponse time and possibly the number of applicants, so who knows :-/ Best of luck to you- please update us if you hear anything.
I feel better knowing I'm not the only one...
I'm surprised that they didn't send them all at once. I've seen threads for people that were accepted that started on 1/9, and others that have been wait-listed... I hope that doesn't mean that they saved the completely rejected letters for last! :-( Clearly I'm over analyzing the situation... but I really want to know!
Yes! Finally! I left work early to check my PO box (and call Regis if there was still nothing there), and there it was... my acceptance letter I could not be happier, I have been so anxious for weeks now. Like I said, I was going to give them a quick call just to make sure there were no issues with my application or to see if my letter had possibly been lost, so maybe you should try that?? Mine was postmarked on 1/11- I can't imagine they sent others out later than that, so if you live pretty close, maybe something happened? I know how frustrating it is... just keep thinking positive thoughts and hopefully it's in your mailbox tonight or tomorrow. Good luck- hopefully we'll be classmates soon!
I took both the GRE and MAT... did ok on the GRE (nothing amazing), but was in the 98% percentile for the MAT, so that was the score that I submitted. My pre-req's were pretty good (3.5ish), but my overall undergrad GPA wasn't great (3.2), and they're also a few years old (graduated undergrad in 06- haven't taken any courses since then), so I'm not sure how much they take those into consideration. I have quite a bit of medical related experience (both paid and volunteer), which probably helped.

well I heard yesterday...I was waitlited...which I see as good! one step closer right? A bit of a relief to have heard from them, but still anxious about what my fate will be and when...
still keeping my fingers and toes crossed! This is where I know I'm meant to be!
I wonder how often they pull from the waitlist at Regis for this program...anyone know what has happened in years past?
