Help! My wife is pregnant and the hospital we work at is going to a dress code of only black, red, and grey. We can't find any combo with red in it. Her nursing shoes are brown, so she won't wear solid black. Any advice or link to where we can find something that might work?

Well I refused to go out and buy a ton of new scrub tops during my current pregnancy so I wear a solid color tshirt under a scrub jacket. Much easier and cheaper this way..

She can't wear white? I can't find any maternity scrubs in red. They do have black but she's eliminating that option. I would personally say screw it and wear mismatched colors with the shoes. There was pewter which may or may not be allowed but it won't match with brown shoes.

I find this style unattractive personally but they do have it in red. Maternity Scrub Top with V Neck and Tie Front - 15 Colors
Any chance she could get something that has elastic or a tie but is just bigger and not necessarily "maternity"?

Because I'm hard to fit, maternity scrubs were an issue for me. I ended up investing in 3 sets of scrubs from Sassy Scrubs (sassyscrubs.com). They do custom scrubs. You choose the style (pockets, length, etc) and the material, they make them. They are a little pricier than usual, but very, very well made. Most of the other nurses in my unit would just where the unisex physician scrubs the hospital kept on hand. I'm barely 5 feet tall, so unisex means LONG on me. I had to have maternity scrubs, and I wasn't thrilled with what I found. I was very happy with what I ended up with, and I've kept them in case I ever get pregnant again.

My hospital allows you to wear a button-up scrub top (unbuttoned) with a uniform colored undershirt. Maybe your hospital would allow something like that..
