Hey, are there any nurses here in monitoring programs who use Recovery Trek for drug testing? I'm trying to figure out what the different tests actually check for. It bugs me that they're not upfront about it, especially since it's one of those situations where you can't see your own medical records. From what I've gathered:
Does Option 1 only test for alcohol?
Is Option 2 a basic drug check (like 6-10 drugs)?
For Option 3, is it just the standard panel plus EtS or EtG for alcohol (like 8-12 drugs)?
What about Option 6 #96150 – does it include fentanyl or newer stuff like Kratom?
And Option 6 PeTH – is that blood test only for medium to high alcohol intake in the last 3-4 weeks?
Also, no clue what else they might test, and has anyone ever had a hair or nail test? Or any drugs I didn't mention? Just curious.

Hmm, your options are different than mine. I have Options in letters A-C and then an Option E and F. I've asked, and the basic, cheapest urine test will check for Urine ETG, Urine ETS and basic drug check around 10 substances. The more expensive ones will test for even more but I haven't researched to see what, since I'm only worried about the alcohol metabolites and common false positives.
Peth is mainly for medium to high alcohol intake for 2-4 weeks, but be careful - if you have let's say, 2-3 drinks every week for months, you will still test positive on the Peth. It's additive. Look up some studies online - mainly the one where people who DID NOT drink for 1 month, and then had 2-3 standard drinks and peth was positive for 6-10 days.

Assume they can and will check for anything anytime. They check for Kratom. Be cautious and don't take anything but vitamins Tylenol or aspirin without permission . Do your time and move on with your life.

My program also used Recovery Trek and used letters. After a few years, based on cost, you could figure out what was higher/multiple drug panels. Kratom, for us, was a specialty test, and we had to call in and get a code. Also, the sensitivity of the tests is very high. Dayquil will pop for opioids, and poppy seeds, even a very small amount, will also pop for codeine. Also, if you test with your cycle as a female, it can be flagged for potential alterations, as the bacteria will show as nitrites. Too much water, dilute, and too little can alter creatinine levels and trigger abnormalities. Just have to be very, very careful ALL THE TIME.

I just got option 6 code 96150 and it was the most expensive 85$. Was that how much your ran?
Honestly they could run anywhere from $35 up to $111. The deeper into the program the more expensive it got. Toward the end, more expensive specialty tests were ordered.
Do you know what it tests for option 6?
