Recovering addict needing some advice or anyone that cares to listen please

I am a recovering addict. 3 years sober here. I have been recently accused if drug diverting. Agency nurse as well. My urine and blood were negative for any kind of opiates. I really need someone to talk to. The brand new DON at this facility has accused me. Because my situation has turned into a legal matter now. Anyone willing to listen?

Indeed. She certainly did. I received what they are trying to accuse me of. I didn't document a,few prns I handed out twice.

I have the discovery. It appears a,failed to initial in some prn spots. Bit only signed the controlled substance log

I might add that you UA and blood work were not submitted to police nor included in the discovery

Yes it is her pressing charges which I find insane

I would be suing the pants off of that facility- the DON was acting as the representative of that corporation... if she wasn't qualified that is an automatic win for you- much like if I am working in patient care and perform CPR without having my BLS up to date- if anything bad happens that fact alone makes me the fall guy....

I surely plan on it lol. We just need to get thesettled chargeso dismissed

I know right! Why couldn't she just let the board handle me on charting med errors is beyond me. I definitely will keep you posted

So glad to hear you aren't going to let her BS slide!! she should/possibly will be the one behind bars?!?! and yes, PLEASE let us know how this turns out. So nice to hear sometimes the good guy does win & justice is done.

I am so sorry you are going through all of this! How infuriating!!! In addition to all the other advice I would also personally sue that DON!!!
