I am still waiting to hear from UTMBs BSN program and wanted to get a roll-call going.....who else out there has applied there, been accepted there, or attends there? Thanks!

This waiting is killing me - especially since I put out two applications and have already been let down by one of them.

you know it's weird i haven't heard from anyone else whose gotten into the regular bsn program. i do however know one girl who has been accepted into the Accelerated BSN program (she already has a ba) which starts this summer.

on a side note: do you guys know anywhere i can purchase a "utmb school of nursing" shirt online? i've looked but can't seem to find any.

bad news i'm afraid. when i was last in the utmb campus bookstore [2004] they had no utmb son t-shirts. i asked one of the store clerks and learned they don't offer utmb son shirts. they did have md related t-shirts.

btw, congrats about starting next fall semester!

I went to visit the campus about a month ago and they had plenty in the campus bookstore, I didn't get one then because I wasn't 100% sure that I'd be attending this fall and now that I am, I want a shirt.

That is good news, and like I mentioned the last time I was at the bookstore was in 2004.

Alas........I did not get in. But, I will start pharmacology at HCC this summer. If I do well, I'll start the ADN program there instead. Have fun!

Well, that's good. My letter said I was on their waiting list, but I'm not counting on it. :trout: But, I have a contingency agreement with Houston Community College and I'll take it!

Well I got accepted....

But now I have to make a big descision. 3 years or 2? Retake Pharmacology and Health assessment or not...ADN or BSN.

hmmmmm....what a pickle.
