I recently interviewed at Health South in VA. In the interview they mentioned a RN test, I don't know what to expect, what should I know? Also, how much do they pay their RNs and how are the benefits? Thanks in advance

I know nothing of a so-called 'RN test.' I never had to take such a test, so this test might be specific to the facility where you applied. Good luck to you.
I might be wording it wrong, I believe it is a med exam, I just don't know what to expect
I took no tests whatsoever (dosage calculations, meds, etc.) during my pre-employment / hiring process at their sister facility in Texas, so this might be something required only by the facility where you submitted your application.
I suppose you can't go wrong by brushing up on dosage calculations, basic knowledge about CVA, and the most common medications in this setting (antihypertensives, insulin, etc.).
Ok, thanks for the input. You mentioned in the previous post that benefits start from day one... are they good benefits, and how much generally is taken from your check?
Okay, thanks so much for answering my questions, I really appreciate it! :)

Perhaps the med exam is a physical. Why don't you ask?

I was hired in a rehab facility. We have a folder with skills that we need to get checked off on. Every new hire has to do it. We also had a med and drug dosage test before our first day on the floor, but it was nothing major.
I took the test today, it went well, I filled out all my new hire paper work, and as I walked out I decided to take a job with the hospital (because, they too offered me a position), so I have to decline the position now. It is a very crazy situation. Thanks, everyone for your responses.
