Hi...I took the nclex pn in dayton. I passed with 85 questions...it took almost 2 hrs. I didnt have any math. I had priority questions. Select all that apply questions. A few drag over questions. As for studying...well I graduated on Dec 14. I didnt start looking at the saunders cd until after new years. I did alot of questions monday thru friday. And I took the test on Feb 15. I think what helped me alot was I told myself that I was not going to let this test make me a nervous wreck. So I did a good job not freaking out during the test. I prayed and I took alot of deep breaths. It is important to remain calm. The thing is...when you have a question...you need to think like a nurse....so you can pick the right answer. :nurse: I had a few questions about which meal would be appropriate...for low phos and low potassum. So I would say ..know your vegies....etc. Know your labs....I had three questions....on that.....I had questions about which patient to see first........I would say know your organs....(diseases).....but over all I would say its alot of just being a nurse...you can do it.......like I said the only thing I studied with was the Saunders cd, and I PASSED!! YOU CAN TOO!!!!!!:nurse:

I took the RN on Feb 19th.. and it was pretty easy. 75 questions.. alot of select all that apply, priority.. and a few stupid questions.

Hi,

I took the NCLEX-PN end of January in Gahanna (Columbus). I tried not to worry too much before hand and studied about 2 weeks, mostly just practice questions. Somehow I knew before I went in it would be only 85 questions and after about 90 minutes, at 85 questions, the screen went black and it was over. I had a lot of priority as well as select all that apply. I got my results on the Ohio License Search site the next afternoon.

The best advice I can give is do not panic...if you made it through school you should know all this stuff. :twocents::wink2:
