Hi I am looking for recent experiences with Excelsior nursing exams all the threads I find are old ones, from 2007 to 2012. I am currently in the last four exams I have reproductive health which I take 7/6/15 and then LS 1-3. I am wanting to be done hopefully fingers crossed by the end of August this year with exams and then hopefully with the entire program in December. That being said I use the SG101 notes and it seems their notes are a little helpful but tend to be behind I guess some things have changed since they last made their notes. I would like to know what to focus on from here on out and anyones recent testing experiences. How long did anyone study for in between testing for the life span series of exams and any pointers?
Hi there! I just passed the CPNE, first time in June. I too, was a speedy test taker, but understand that the frustration will come at the end, when there are time restrictions on how quickly you can get a test date. I applied in January and didn't get a date until June and that was with me calling and hounding them weekly for cancellations. Currently there a roughly a 5-6 month wait for CPNE.
I started taking exams in March and was done with everything except FCCA and CPNE by November.
As far as LS goes I always took about 2-3 weeks between exams. Life span should be very familiar because its all the things we learned in LPN school. Just refresh. :)
GOOD LUCK!!!!!
