And once again I am reminded what a great deal of peace of mind it brings me for just $89/year.
Just a reminder to those that don't carry it - please do so - students, too!

Nurse Ratched mentioned that even students should carry Ins. When should you start carrying Liability Insurance as a student. Thanks

NurseMelanie - in my opinion, as soon as you start laying hands on patients (when you start clinicals.) Good luck :).

For students with NSO it is $20. We are required to have it and show proof on the first day of clinical. Is this not true of all NUrsing Schools?
Shouldn't it be?

I graduated in '89 (showing my age) and it wasn't reqired/or even mentioned in school..I agree with above=get it before you start clinicals whether required or not..just the safe thing to do :)

It is required at my school for all nursing students to carry Liability Insurance. Just seems like a good idea and plus it's super cheap...
