I find it interesting that there are contradicting statements made in #s 1 & 10:
"1. The vaccine gives me the flu. Dumb ass. It is a killed vaccine. It cannot give you the influenza. It is impossible to get flu from the influenza vaccine."
" I received the vaccine and I got the flu anyway. Inexact dumb ass. The vaccine is not perfect and you may have indeed had the flu."

The author is stating in the first one that the vaccine does NOT give you the flu. This is fact, you cannot get the flu from the vaccine. In the later one, he references the fact that the vaccine does not provide 100% protection from every flu virus, but states this:
8. I had the vaccine last year, so I do not need it this year. Uneducated dumb ass. Each year new strains of influenza circulate across the world. Last years vaccine at best provides only partial protection. Every year you need a new shot. And we have a new strain this season, H1N1, so you cannot be a parasite on the immunity of others.
10. I received the vaccine and I got the flu anyway. Inexact dumb ass. The vaccine is not perfect and you may have indeed had the flu. More likely you called one of the many colds people get each year the flu. Remember there are hundreds of potential causes of a respiratory infection circulating, the vaccine only covers influenza, the virus most likely to kill you and yours.
Yes, damn those otherwise healthy fools who wish to maintain some control over their body. How dare they question the collective wisdom of the pharmaceutical companies and refuse to have a bunch of "dead" viruses and chemicals injected directly into their body in the hopes that some guy in some lab pick the correct 3 virus strains that could possibly show up this winter, might come in contact with them and might infect them. Oh, and with the hope that the virus has not mutated into a form no longer susceptible to the vaccine. Yes, damn those morons to hell.

How are these contradicting statements? He's saying the vaccine doesn't give you the flu, and then he's saying that it still is possible TO get the flu, even if vaccinated. That doesn't mean that if you get it, the vaccine was the reason for getting it. Quite the opposite, actually.
I have had confirmed influenza when the flu shot did not cover the particular flu strain I had that year. Considering how sick I was with the honest-to-goodness flu (and my severe persistent asthma on top of it all), I will forever take my chances with the flu shot and receive it. They don't always guess it right, but when they do, I can lessen my chances of getting that flu again. That's just peachy with me.

Indeed, they are not contradictory, some people do not make the antibodies to the virus after receiving the vaccine. Sometimes, the virus mutates, thus making a "mismatch" between vaccine and virus. But the vaccine itself does not cause a person to become sick with the flu.
