I PASSED MY HESI OB EXAM TODAY!!!!!!!! My composite score is 943 and my percentage is 85.93%! Even though I still have to take my last test next week, to which I HAVE TO SCORE 80% or above TO PASS THE CLASS, I FEEL VINDICATED! I HAVE FAILED EVERY TEST THIS QUARTER. TODAY, SEEING MY SCORE WAS PROOF TO MYSELF AND MY INSTRUCTOR THAT I KNEW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, I CAN APPLY WHAT I KNOW! I AM OVER-THE-MOON EXCITED! I JUST WANTED TO SHARE MY GOOD NEWS AND PROVE TO SOMEONE ELSE HERE THAT IF I CAN PULL THIS OFF, YOU CAN TOO!:yes:

I had a fabulous tutor that was an OB nurse for 30 years and who is a current instructor at my school. She just makes it fun, gets to what you really need to know, and why. I'm also a visual learner, she provided basic visuals that I could touch and use for my understanding; when she did this on our first meeting, within 5 minutes literally "the light bulb" came on for me! She also ACTUALLY EXPLAINS AND TEACHES THE SUBJECT, NOT STAND IN FRONT OF YOU AND REPEAT WHATS IN THE BOOK WORD FOR WORD OR GIVE RANDOM STATISTICS. THIS IS INVALUABLE BECAUSE, SHE REALLY KNOWS THE SUBJECT SO SHE CAN TEACH IT.

I really could go on and on about how wonderful she is as an instructor. I am forever greatful to her. The best thing is, she knows it! :yes:
