I will be graduating this year (totally crossing fingers here) and feel that the #1 thing for me as far as a place to work is new grad program/teaching hospital. I want to go somewhere where not only is the orientation awesome, but where the nurses love to teach, a place where asking "why" isn't met with a disgruntled huff... Is there any hospital out there in Phx/surrounding areas that offer really great programs and are just all out a great place to work with people willing and happy to teach?
Any personal experience would be great...or if you know the inside scoop...:wink2:

I moved from Washington State to Arizona for that very same reason and got a job at St. Joseph's Hospital & Medical Center. My experience there has been EXCELLENT....couldn't recommend them more highly!!!!

Could you shadow at a few places to get a feel for them?
Well, last time I tried to "shadow" I met a lot of resistance. It is hard to do that now, with HIPPPA and all. I don't have much time to think about this...if fact, I have already spent too much time.... MUST STUDY!!!
If you guys have anything else to add, I am all ears. And thank you to all who PM'd me!!:monkeydance:
