I have been hearing different opinions and different statistics about salary of CRNAs.But nothing is conclusive yet.I agree that variation occurs due to location, facility etc. What you think your colleagues are making approximately?. I mean INCOME ,not average base salaries. Income includes everything for example overtimr, two jobs etc.And please only serious replies. No bad words or advices please. Thanks

This question gets asked quite often here. Maybe you could tell everyone why it's so important you have this information so they'd be more willing to answer your question with more than the average statistics. There are recent posts from this year though that appear to answer this question in case you haven't looked around.

I have extensive records of CRNA income because I held licensure in 5 states and submitted direct bids for contract work as an independent provider.
I will forward that information to you if you abandon your plans to become a CRNA and attend medical school instead (allegedly, for the second time). Then, you can become one of those physicians whose focus is on making as much money as possible - regardless of ethics, medical necessity, or humanity.

Anyone in the anesthesia community who clicks on your name and see's that the last few months you've started repeated threads focused only on how many X hours you must work to earn X dollars as a CRNA will give you 06CRNAs kind of response.
You get lots of answers from all kinds of people in these threads you've started but you seem to be searching for a photocopy of CRNAs tax filings.
Perhaps it's all just misjudement on our part. Maybe you have a rare disease so that when you mean to talk about your passion for anesthesia and desire to provide smooth painless procedures for patients it just comes out sounding like Money, money, money and uh, money.
Every post you have made concerns money - not just average numbers, but maximizing income through overtime, 1099 arrangements, working two or more jobs.
I once had to fire a great CRNA with excellent clinical skills who began falling asleep in the OR. He later admitted he was financially overextended and sometimes worked overnight at another facility (which was prohibited). Our group nearly lost the contract. He could have killed a patient.
Go ahead. Tell me bucking 200k is worth that.
Impaired anesthetists - whether caused by exhaustion or mental issues or substance use - are dangerous. Period.
VIGILANCE AND PATIENT SAFETY ARE THE CORNERSTONES OF CRNA PRACTICE.
There are plenty of ways to make a lot of money in American health care. CRNA practice is not typically one of them.
@06crna. .I don't get it that if one wants to do overtime, why issues are arisen by others?.Go get a life man.I know this profession has brought you down on earth(you told an anesthesiologist did that to you) then why you are just degrading it by quotes like low salaries etc?

People are bothered because you're so obsessed with anesthesia salaries. You already know what they are but you keep asking. Get on gasworks website and search the incomes posted. It's simple.

Not sure why many of you are upset that this user is going into a field because of the money. Because i'm sure we all became nurses because it was a calling í ½í¸’

It's a balance between interest in the work and interest in the money from doing the work.
Your judgement becomes impaired when you focus too much on the money.
This is often misquoted because it is the LOVE of money that is the root of all evil, not mere money itself.
"Money-grubbing slime bag" is no compliment. Just sayin'.

I agree with everyone else 06crna CRNA if you do not have anything nice to say then save your words. It is perfectly reasonable for others to research fields of study and to take into consideration income especially when one will assume an enormous amount of student debt in the process.
@holisticsn. ...Thank you brother for standing with me.This 06 Crna guy is just degrading this amazing profession by quoting low salaries.May be he himself is let down by anything. When I will take Crna route and will invest my time and money, won't I research everything related to this?
