hi! u dont need to send them a certificate of passing, a cover letter explaining your condition together with your application will be okay. just send them a copy of your license once you receive it. thats what i did.. you can do that if you want.. :nuke:

Hello again fellow nurses! I would like to ask about the cover letter for Vermont BON regarding the status of my license which is still undergoing processing at the moment. To whom will the letter be addressed to? :confused: "Sir or Madam" or "To Whom It May Concern?" Thanks so much! :wink2:

I saw Vermont BON website, they had updated the application form for foreign applicants!!!!! effective on march 27, 2008...

Vermont had updated the application forms for Foreign Nurses, just visit their website...they now require a copy of passport, the form now has 7 pages...effective on March 27, 2008...

Yes I've seen the new requirements for Vermont. They've added a copy of your passport and its ID # and the country where it was issued. :rolleyes: The font and spaces provided were also updated but nothing much has changed.

Could anyone help me regarding the cover letter to be written to the Vermont BON regarding the status of my license undergoing processing? To whom shall I address the letter? :confused:

hello! i am a filipino rn. i applied to sit for the nclex exam with vermont as my state. i was made eligible july of last year. i wanna know when will this eligibility expire. i havent registered with pearsonvue yet. thanks

i'm waiting from my eligibility sometime between april and may... as for when the eligibility expire, from what i can remember, i think it's 365 days (1 year). you have a year to register w/ pearsonvue... and you got 60 days to schedule your nclex exam...

i'm waiting from my eligibility sometime between april and may... as for when the eligibility expire, from what i can remember, i think it's 365 days (1 year). you have a year to register w/ pearsonvue... and you got 60 days to schedule your nclex exam...

i sent my application sometime in january. they received it jan 28... so i'm calculating it would be sometime between the end of april to may (maybe 1st week of june)... hehehe... :nurse: what about you?

hehehe... i think you have the options of writing the BON an explanation letter as to why your license isn't available yet, or you can get a certificate of passing from the PRC. I sent them my certification of passing including my rating... but, i think you might find it much easier to write a letter... hehehe .... :wink2:

I'm really thankful for the reply Nurse butterflyc. I'm still waiting for my passport and TOR for the application. The Vermont BON updated their requirements last month. So I still have to wait before I could forward my application. Again, many thanks for the advice. :yeah: :yeah: :yeah:

Hi nursemich. I mailed an authenticated photocopy of my transcript. They don't need the original copy. And don't forget to send them also an authenticated copy of your RLE Record.
