Have you checked their website as some will only accept bank drafts?

Hi there I sent them a personal check of my sister who is an RN in Philadelphia. Why don't you inquire at some banks so you can avail of a bank draft? Try it.

hi! i would just like to ask.. does taking the cgfns exam helps you have a visascreen certificate faster or it is just the same processing time as passing the nclex alone? if your going to endorse your license to a state that requires cgfns exam, do you have to still have to take the exam or does passing the nclex exam means that you also passed the cgfns so you are excempted to take it? please enlighten me.. im sorry for asking my questions at the wrong thread but a reply would be deeply appreciated. thank you and may god bless you! :-)

Makes no difference. For visa screen you need pass in either or. If endorsing and the state requires CGFNS exam then usually you have to meet requirements so need to pass it but you could always email BON and ask.

okay thank you! i was just asking because someone told me that passing the cgfns exam would make processing time or having a visascreen certificate faster than nclex alone.. well i guess, as what you told me it makes no difference.. another question (im so sorry for asking a lot of questions..), if i passed the nclex (i applied my initial licensure at vermont), the state of vermont will issue my license right? but in order to renew it i need to have a ss number.. do you know how many years before a vt license expires? if i dont give them a ss number in that span, can i endorse the license to california in order to save my license so that i wont go back to the initial licensure processing again? thanks for the reply! it really helped me! :-)

The expiry date will be on the license, some will re new without SSN and some wont. If you try and endorse to CA I don't think they will give you a license as you have no SSN. I doubt it will be any problems if they will not renew without SSN you shouldn't have to retake the exam again

thank you so much...

hi there,

please enlighten me...

i would like to know if there will be an expiration date after i registered with Person to get my candidate i.d. number and by the time Pearson Vue given me the candidate i.d. number?????

your reply will really help me a lot...

thanks..:)

Hi with regards to the white card. The white card will be sent with a letter from the BON. But it will not indicate any time limit when you should mail back the white card. But it's stated there that you should only return it to them when you are ready. There's no specific time limit stated in the letter so I do not know the expiration. I submitted mine 2 months after I received the white card.

hi! how are you? sorry for taking again your time.. i would just like to ask, i already received my license from the prc and im going to mail a photocopy of it to the BON.. when you mailed yours, did you make a cover letter together with the photocopy? is it necessary? i also started reviewing but i find it hard.. i dont have the driving force to study because i know that it would take months before i get an approval to sit the test. so how are you? hope your working now.. what hospital did you applied? btw, can i register to pearson vue as soon as the BON gave me an approval to sit test? you can track it in their website, if they place there a date that i was approved to sit the test, even i didnt receive the white card, can i register or do i really have to wait for the white card? thanks in advance for your reply and godbless you! ^_^

Hi toma, I am doing great! Thanks for asking. Hope you are too.... And yes, I will be working soon.

FYI, You have to wait for your approval to sit for the exam first then wait for the white card which requires you to put your candidate ID no. Once you mail them back the white card ( don't return it if you are not ready yet ) the BON will make you eligible and Pearson Vue will send you your ATT. Then the 90 days begin....

I did not attend a review center. I studied on my own. I did the same thing when I took the local board.

I only used Saunders and the CD.And it does work! . Plus the Prioritization and Delegation book by Mosby.

You can do it,just believe in yourself and pray hard. And when you get to experience the glory of God, it will be one of the most fantastic moments of your life. :balloons:
