hi there! im new here. i took the california nclex-rn in saipan last july 13, 2006 and until now, i don't have the results yet. how long (or longest?) is the waiting time for the release of the results? im presently right here in the philippines and am now worried about my results. should i call them to follow-up my results? can i just email them? will they entertain me if i call them over the phone? please help!

anybody who had the same problem, please provide me the contact numbers of the california board of registered nursing! is it really ok to call them? thank you very much!

I just took my NCLEX-RN exam last Jan17'08 under California State. Im a foreign grad (phil.) but i am now here in US (tx). I already have my SSN. So its been almost 10days (working days) and i still waiting for my result. I also checked the Online CA BRN for my name.. and have'nt receive any letter mail yet. Now im so worried. :o

Does somebody got experince they ddnt seen their name for 2-4 weeks then receive mail that pass? :innerconf

And does the CaliforniaBRN releases the result first through the website before they send lettermail? or they send first the lettermail after posting it in the net? I'm really confused n worried. HELP!

PM me if you get your letter,,ok???....please???i still hope we did ok,,,who knows,,being an international graduate might require a different processing or checking time or whatever right???....you know,,,maybe its taking them longer time to check if we have everything or something like that,,,,i do hope so,,Best of luck!

Many have posted that they received letter before seeing their name on the site. Not everyone's name goes on the site within 3 days.

I know it is easier said than done but hang in there and sure you will hear something soon

Thank you for posting these replies to all of the questions regarding the the NCLEX-RN results timeframe. I was also looking for answers regarding when can I receive my result because I took my NCLEX exam last January 2008 and until now I have'nt received anything. Then I saw this forum regarding NCLEX-RN results and it answered a lot of my questions. I was worried before because at the cover of the candidate bulletin 2007 it says that after taking your exam you have to wait at a minimum of 4 weeks to receive your result by mail, but now I understand that it will take longer than that. I thought I was the only one who is experiencing this kind of trouble. Now I know that I am not alone in this kind kind of situation. This site is a big help for me. thank you again and please keep us posted. :bow:

You can sit the exam in any pearsonvue center as long as you have ATT and they do the test at that center, not all centers do the exam. Other issues you will have is retrogression as you will be affected. Have you applied to BRN and gone through application for licensure?

NCLEX is a national exam, there is not one specific for CA. The results are accepted in all fifty states.

In addtion to passing the NCLEX exam and you can write it in Mexico City, you need to pass the entire series for TOEFL, called the iBT. It includes speaking and writing sections and not just the plain TOEFL exam. Not sure what you have done specifically.

You will also need to obtain a Visa Screen Certificate before you will be able to get the NAFTA TN Visa. You are lucky in the fact that you hold Mexican citizenship and can use this special visa to be able to work in the US now, same as the Canadians can. Otherwise you will be waiting for several years to be able to work in the US.

Please check out the International Forum for more information. You will also need to apply thru a BON to get permission to sit for the NCLEX exam.

Have you actually applied to California for licensure to be a RN in the USA? You can not sit NCLEX without going through the state board of nursing, get your nursing transcript evaluated and permission given to sit the exam California board of nursing is known as BRN

hi im planning to take the california nclex. problem is i have no idea on how to do it. id read quite a few but still confused. should i review first before filing? how long will it take for me to be scheduled for the exam after i submit all the required documents? your help is much appreciated!
