Hello an!i took my nclex rn for the 3rd time on sept 16, 2014 with 85 question and didn't pass. I took my first one (205 questions) in 2012=fail.....i only used kaplan for this one. 2nd try(105 question) in 2013=fail i used ncsbn and kaplan......3rd try (85 questions)= fail used pda book, hurst, and this 97 pages note my friend gave me . I really don't know what else to do but pray and give it to god. I'm planning on taking it again in november, in the state of sc we only have three years to pass the nclex rn. After three years i have to enrolled in another nursing school and basically start over. Do anyone have any suggestion on what to use, how to answers question..to conquer this test.

PDA is geared towards RN. Did you compare your performance reports? Do you consistently score near or below passing in the same areas? Did you improve with each exam (first attempt only one area above passing, 2nd attempt one above, two near, 3rd attempt 2 above passing, etc)? Have you considered an in person or live review? Such as Kaplan ( good for test taking strategies and includes qbank & qtrainer) or Hurst ( goodfor content)?

Hello!! Just as justbeachynurse said i think you should compare your CPR results together and see whats you weak areas and start with that. Also i would recommend Saunders for the content part it's really helpful i have failed numerous times before and now saunders is helping me with content. Also if you can afford it extend kaplan and use it it helps with strategies for test taking skills( contenct videoa, question videos, qtrainers, qbanks, sample test 1-4). We got this and we cant give up we finished nursing school for a reason. We shall pass!!! AMEN!!
Also can you share the 97 page if you don't mind?
The 97 page guide is sold online for $50 and is considered copyrighted. It's just notes from another source (Kaplan or Hurst) per another member who compared review material

maybe its not the content that is getting you, it could be the way you are approaching the test. do you have any distractions when you are studying? are you eating or drinking when you are studying? are you rethinking the question with each answer in your own words? do you change you answers a lot? think of things like that. I failed my first time, then found a friend who made me look at the questions from a qbank in a way different way and my results went through the roof. Just my 2 cents.
The 1st time I had near on most of the areas, one below and one above. 2nd time near on all the areas except two above and one below. I'm still waiting on my results from my recent test. I took Kaplan after graduation in 2012 I didn't thought it was helpful because i was lacking content. What about Pearson Comprehension NCLEX Review book? I read some review about it and im thinking about buying it.
yes we got this!!!!
