Hello everyone,
If you are submitting an application July-August for RCC’s CEP or traditional ADN Spring 2023 & you have questions please feel free to ask away. Let’s help each other get through this application process & eventually through the entire program(:

Any other CEP alternates losing their minds waiting? Have any alternates received any acceptance letters?
Nope, nothing yet. I was going through the thread from last years Spring cohort and it seems alternates did not start hearing back till around December 16th. I’m an alternate as well. Hoping for the best, was feeling hopeful w/77 points but it seems the application pool was extra high…
Yeah, I read through that entire thread as well, I was hoping that perhaps we would be a little luckier! I wish there was just a bit more information out there about the expectations. I've completed everything I could on complio, so I guess that's all there is to do but wait some more.... Good luck to everyone!!
I applied to the traditional route (ADN) which means I will hear next month. does anyone know if they sent emails late or early on December? the reason I ask is because for the meantime I accepted another school as a backup, but this school is going way too fast. they already sent out another packet talking about buying books and uniform by dec 18. I am doing the vaccinations and thinking of dropping out the other school after I finish getting the vaccinations then wait out for RCC. if you were in my shoes, what would you suggest? thank you. RCC is my first choice.. I really want to get in with the TEAS scores and GPA I have..

Hi I applied to the traditional ADN program at RCC but I haven’t done my TEAS. When I submitted my application it said I have to submit TEAS results by February 3, 2023 and it said that I should hear back around June to see if I got accepted. I’m a little confused, could it be that the people that submitted the ADN application with their TEAS already completed get a quicker response? Also do you mind me asking how many points did you apply with and what other school you got excepted into thank you

Did you apply for the Spring 2023 or fall 2023? I applied for Spring 2023. I did my TEAS on May right before the new version came out with a 92% total score. I submitted my scores on July, way before the deadline of the TEAS score to be submitted which was sept 16. When I submitted my application stating "decision notification timeline for ADN mid-December". I applied with 81 points and I got accepted to Pasadena city college with 82 points. I realized for CEP, they got the result early before mid-October. I'm guessing it will be the same sending early emails? hopefully.

The students that are receiving acceptances/alternates applies for the Concurrent Enrollment Program (CEP). This is for students wishing to pursue a BSN simultaneously while at RCC.
