Hello everyone,
If you are submitting an application from June to July for RCC's CEP or traditional ADN for Spring 2024, then I encourage you to ask on THIS thread. My hope is that this thread can be a great resource for fellow applicants -- I know how much I appreciated having words of wisdom and fellow peers as I apply. Let's support each other as much as possible.
A little about me: I'm taking Bio 50B and Soc 1 this Spring, and I have yet to take the TEAS. I have a bachelor's degree, special circumstances, dosage calc class, and I'm bilingual.

Thank you very much! I just checked, I received the confirmation email as well. See you guys on January! Congratulations to all!

I think I applied with 76 or 78 depending on whether or not they accepted the work experience I submitted, and if they did, how they calculated it.
If the enrollment specialists said the cut off score was between 71-73, then it seems like it was a little lower this application cycle compared to the previous cycles. Or at least the ones that have posted here.

that's true! I noticed that compared to other cycles. does anyone know how many applicants apply each cycle? I think there's 50-60 of us that get accepted.

I'm pretty sure it's 40 acceptances. IDK how many alternates there are.
CEP had 290s applicants, and the Traditional ADN had same number of applicants as well

From what I remember from the Nursing Workshop, they accept 40 students per cohort (40 for CEP and 40 for traditional), 80% will be from the point system and 20% will be from the random or lottery. The counselor told me, if you have more than 80 points then you will be in a "really really good" position.

Oh wow, I didn't know that the cutoff is usually in the low-mid 70s! It's really nice that they share so much information with us. I thought I wasn't going to have a chance because I thought the cutoff score would be in the low 80s. Thank you for sharing, this is great info to have!
