Hello everyone,
If you are submitting an application from June to July for RCC's CEP or traditional ADN for Spring 2024, then I encourage you to ask on THIS thread. My hope is that this thread can be a great resource for fellow applicants -- I know how much I appreciated having words of wisdom and fellow peers as I apply. Let's support each other as much as possible.
A little about me: I'm taking Bio 50B and Soc 1 this Spring, and I have yet to take the TEAS. I have a bachelor's degree, special circumstances, dosage calc class, and I'm bilingual.

Okay I see, I think that makes the most sense. So they suggest taking the ADN spot if you get in, and then if a CEP spot opens and you are offered it, then you can take that instead and drop from the ADN. Congratulations on receiving an alternate email, that's great! I know people drop their spots due to getting in somewhere else or somewhere closer, so there's a chance! And if you received an alternate spot for CEP, then it seems like you have a high chance of getting into the ADN ? Wishing you the best!

Yes so I'll find out mid November if I get into ADN. So RCC has on file that I have accepted my alternate spot but I still want to be considered for ADN, so if I get accepted, I'll drop CEP. If not, then I have CEP to fall back on

About 4 more weeks then, it goes by pretty fast! I'm excited for you and I wish you all the best. It seems like you have a good chance of starting the program in Spring 2024. Plus there are so many good RN-BSN collaborations between ADN and BSN programs, so if we can for sure get into an ADN program and complete it, we have a lot of chances of getting into an RN-BSN program and getting our BSN done in 1-3 more semesters after passing the NCLEX-RN.

Yup ?

They said follow up emails will be sent after October 27th
Starling said:What vaccines are they requiring? I only applied to the ADN program but I want to get a head start hopefully I get in!
You should definitely set up an appointment with the RCC Health Services to review what immunizations/titers are needed to get a head start. I know for some vaccines like MMR or Polio, you'll need to wait another month to get the next dose.
