Hello everyone,
If you are submitting an application from June to July for RCC's CEP or traditional ADN for Spring 2024, then I encourage you to ask on THIS thread. My hope is that this thread can be a great resource for fellow applicants -- I know how much I appreciated having words of wisdom and fellow peers as I apply. Let's support each other as much as possible.
A little about me: I'm taking Bio 50B and Soc 1 this Spring, and I have yet to take the TEAS. I have a bachelor's degree, special circumstances, dosage calc class, and I'm bilingual.
Hey, @Kend02! I would email the nursing department (or [MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME]) and ask them to confirm whether or not they received it. Another thing you can do is join (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME)'s open Zoom drop-in office hours, he has them M/T/W/Th at different times. You can find his Zoom link on this website. If you join at those times you can meet him and ask if he can verify for you.
If they don't respond to the email or if you're unable to meet (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) during his drop-in Zoom hours, then maybe call the nursing department and let them know you emailed them on whatever date you did to confirm if they received your TEAS transcript, but you haven't heard back so you wanted to call in and see if anyone can help you confirm that information.
Hi all! As of now, we're all waiting on our application and should be getting word of acceptance/rejection in October for CEP applicants, November for traditional applicants.
For those who are studying to take the TEAS, remember you have until September 8th! That is the deadline to submit your TEAS. Also, I have been told that if you are invited to take the TEAS with RCC, rest assured knowing that it will be sent automatically to RCC.
As for studying for the TEAS, it would be remiss of me if I didn't encourage you to do practice questions. Practice questions, practice questions, practice questions! The most helpful testing resource was practice tests A and B from ATI. There's a fee to access the practice tests, but they are 100% worth it as it may dramatically bolster your prep for test day. I can confirm that this was the case for me!!
Let me know if you have any questions!
