Nursing Students School Programs

Hello all! Please respond if you are seeking a support group regarding applying in Fall 2016.

Anybody hear anything?

I had to call Steven Purdy to get an answer.

Has anyone mentioned the average points as yet? Because I am hearing they already reviewed application

What do you mean they've already " reviewed the application" as in choosing students?

I had to call the office as well.

I called to ask if I was missing anything and she said they have reviewed my application. So I guess they are still in the process

Oh okay. Yeah I don't think they'll be making any decisions yet. TEAS still have to be turned in by Next Friday.

How many points is everyone applying with for FALL 2016?

Hello everyone. I am re-applying for FALL 2016. Does anyone know how that application process works? I have read on other posts that a computer generates the scores?

It works the same for each application period. Im pretty sure they just review each application, input scores onto the computer, which thereafter tells them what the scores are looking like. Like it gives a list of the top scores. That's where the 80% with the highest scores will be selected from. Then it chooses a random 20% from people who simply meet the requirements (the gpa and teas minimums).

That's interesting. I did not know that is how the selection works. I wonder what other things are involved during that process. Like what else goes into consideration. I am really hoping the cut off is low this semester, because I have read in last threads the cut off being at 80, if so then I'm screwed :banhappy: so thinking positive thoughts here and praying we all get in!!! We all have worked so hard for this, so I hope each one of you including myself get in for fall!

The last of TEAS takers are taking there's today at RCC, so if any of you reading this take a deep breath and good luck!!

At counseling, she said what also goes into consideration is whether you've finished all the GE requirements prior to applying as well. But this is just me relaying what I was told when I asked her how it worked. Dang, 80 is so high :/.

But yes, I hope we all get in!
