Nursing Students School Programs

Hello all! Please respond if you are seeking a support group regarding applying in Fall 2016.

Oh I see! I hope people start posting on her to see where everyone's at.

I took the teas v exam today. Just got my results. I scored 78% which gives me 30 points. I believe I'm at 75 total points. I'm a little nervous about it. Not sure if I'll get accepted into the program. I was hoping to get 80 total points to get in the "safe zone". What did everyone else score? Total points?

That's a good score. I'm at a 75 and also a bit nervous! Hoping the cut off is low this semester!

Was there a lot of nursing students?

Hi everyone, I just took the TEAS today and saw my score was posted this evening. I got a 83.3 which puts me at 80 points for the program... If my calculations are correct. I'm unsure of how the advanced level coursework for a foreign language or proficiency in a foreign language points are added. if my advanced coursework in Spanish counts, I have 80, if not I'll have 75...

I think you're fine Hcat. They will take any foreign language. The level doesn't matter from what I know. I think you are in the safe zone! Congrats!! Was there a lot of people taking the test yesterday?

It seemed as if the entire room was filled of people taking the exam. There's going to be a lot of applicants for sure. I hope my 75 points makes it.

Well then you and me both. I really hope we get in:no: I wish I knew when we can find out how the cut off is looking.

Not many users on this thread like the others!

I definitely know how anxious you feel! Give it your best shot. The hard work will pay off in the end. I believe I scored a 78 on my teas and I applied to the program with 75 points. It's interesting because the point acceptance range really depends on the people you are applying with. Also, it will depend on whether or not everyone accepts the spot once it's offered. You wouldn't believe how many people don't and they start pulling from the list of alternates. I read that someone made it in the last fall cohort with 65 points. So I def wouldn't count anything out.

I also scored 78 on the teas exam and I'm going in with 75 total points! 😭 I hope I get in!

No there isn't. That's what I'm noticing too. I wish more would post. It would definetely make the time go by faster.
