Hello all! Please respond if you are seeking a support group regarding applying in Fall 2016.
Ella, have you ever made an appointment with them to go over your points score? I did in the beginning and found it really helpful. She let me know areas I could improve and where to gain more points. For me, I ended up taking Spanish (5 pts) and you only need 1 semester with a C or better. I also repeated a couple of general ed courses for higher grades. I got in with a 75 last fall. The lowest I've seen on the message boards is a 70. I think anything lower than that will come from the alternat list. Good luck!
Where are you taking your TEAS? Yes I know how you feel because there is so much to prepare for!! Just try to relax and be confident in your answer choices. I know the sections are timed but make sure your read the question in its entirety before you answer. I had enough time to get through all of the questions and then go back over some of the ones that gave me problems.
I found it extremely helpful to buy the ATI tests and book. At minimum, you should purchase the tests. The format is very similar to what you will experience on testing day. You can take each test twice and the system will grade it like an actual exam. This way you know what areas to focus your attention when you study. Study as many hours as you can devote every day from now until your test day. Read through each section and familiarize yourself with the content. Make flash cards if you need to. Take all the practice tests in the book. Get used to timing yourself. Also be familiar with Punnett squares , RNA codon chart. You tube is great for math/science. Keshawni math test prep will cover the entire ATI math section in detail. Also, I followed this study guide https://allnurses.com/teas-exam-help/how-i-passed-804222.html. Make sure you are very familiar with the reading and grammar section. I focused more of my time on math and science. When test day got here, I regretted not spending more time on reading. Grammar was just like the book and what I expected. Hope this helps you and good luck in April!

I have no idea, but I figured I'll apply and let them tell me I didn't get in rather than telling myself I won't get in. I'm hoping there's a chance through their lottery system.
I am starting a CNA program next week so I'll have something to do and a also get a few more points next application period.
