Hello, I was wondering how I could apply for the RN(ADN) program at RCC. I just got done with my Anatomy 2A and Microbiology, and I am working toward finishing my Anatomy 2B before I could apply. Do I need to worry about my TEAS test now because I heard that the application period is from September 1 to October? Also, if I completed 2 years of Spanish in high school, do they accept it or do I have to take the Spanish courses?

you have to look into CNA programs in your area. They are quite pricey(my problem right now) and they take up a good amount of time. Do you live in the riverside area?
Hello,
sorry for such a late response! This did not alert me that I had replies. Anyways, you should be set to apply to the program in January 2016. Most people say wait until you are done with classes to start studying for the TEAS, but I am just incorporating into my day. Along with homework for my classes. I am not sure if they will take your spanish in high school. If they do you might have to take a test showing that you are proficient in it first and then they might give you credit for it. Do not take my word! Call them. Good luck!

Hi Guys! I highly suggest coming to a nursing workshop it is the best place to have every single question answered and the ability to set an appointment with the nursing counselor who will go over your case specifically one on one. Please come as current students discuss how they got in, how they studied for TEAS and their current nursing life. The dates, times and locations are listed on the nursing website. Btw go to the 2pm-4pm Norco or Riverside meetings as nursing students go to these.

Hi, I'm currently applying for the fall also but I will going into the bridge program since I'm an LVN already. I will be taking anatomy 2b this spring so that lowers my chances of getting in this fall but I'm crossing my fingers in hopes to get in.

I submitted my application on January 4th and just received confirmation today, January 20th, that it had been received by RCC. The e-mail states that acceptance or denial letters will not be sent via e-mail until mid-June.
My points are quite low, so my only hope is the lottery. It will be an agonizing wait, but I have ten other applications I will work on in the meantime.

What points are you applying with before TEAS??

Hello All!
I will be applying my 2nd time around. I had to defer my enrollment from last fall. It's interesting @ellaellaella that they took so long to get back to you....wow! I only recently submitted my application on 01/18. I haven't received a response yet. Good luck to everyone. Believe it or not, this time will fly by faster than you think
I have actually already taken my TEAS. I only scored a 66.7 on my first TEAS attempt which means I am only applying with 55 points, if my calculations are correct.
do you know if anyone has gotten in with 55 points before?
