Hello all! Please respond if you are seeking a support group regarding applying in Fall 2016.

Thanks for the positive energy guys. I really needed it. I'll keep you posted and I'll call Monday. I hope they read and respond to their emails over the weekend. I'm hoping it was just a miscalculation. Fingers crossed

yes...your doctors/nurses will need to sign off if they are verifying the information for you.

I think I will need Tithers bc I don't have my immunization record[/QUE]

Yes you will need titers. My mom had my old hospital record and they accepted that for my polio and varicella. Check around to see if you can find anything. It will be one less step in the long run.

Oh and also to get started...you can start your CPR if it needs to be updated or you don't have one. Make sure the class you take meets the requirements under box 8. Also be sure to apply for financial aid and to the college again for fall 2016 (if you haven't already done so).

Congratulations to everyone that got in. One of my friends was also accepted into fall. Here's hoping I hear something next week about the advanced to skills test. I hope I get to take it.

Yes if you truly have a 75 you should most definitely call and find out what happened!

Do you know what are they changing?

I don't remember in detail the changes, but it gave you up to 6 or 7 pts i believe for your General Ed GPA. Unlike the old application that went up to 30pts. So it gives you more points for prior medical work experience, plus for having your CNA license, and points if you have taken their Pre-nursing classes such as Drug dosage etc.

I did hear that too, but do you know if it was going to start for the next app period or period of 2017?

Next application should be the same. My mom is applying I'm September for the next application period and she went to the workshop.

So I should go get a cna license... I guess it's good if you have prior experience

I wanted to ask you if you remember which books we will need for 1st semester?

Or if you recommend if we just bought them all at once prior to starting?

Do you recommend any clinical sites for us to take?

I got in!!!!! I'm so excited. He counted my points wrong. I called him, but he hasn't sent me the email yet. So I don't really know what all I have to do yet
