Between watching TV this morning and this whole Dr. Oz thing
http://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/209611-dr-oz-gets-tough-treatment-on-weight-loss-claims
And my non-medical FB friends trying to convince me that Dr Mercola can cure my son's Type 1 diabetes or that ADHD doesn't exist and that the outbreak of measles is not due to the anti-vaccine movement
It is so frustrating. When I gently try to explain that these claims are not true, they think I am part of this huge conspiracy of the medical profession and big pharma.
So frustrating.
Rant over, thanks for listening

I thank my lucky stars regularly that it took when I made sure my kids were brought up on the scientific method with evidence-based practice (for everything), and that therefore my grandchildren are immunized and healthy. (And smart!)(And soooo cute, too.)(But most of all, healthy.)
