The interview went okay, long emphasis on okay, I was nervous, but I think I delivered my point across well, not as bad as my previous interviews.

How many yrs of icu did u guys do before applying to crna school? And were u guys in a level I hospital? And what did ur undergrad grades look like?

I found out yesterday that I was offerred admission to Raleigh School of Nurse Anesthesia:yeah: I am sooo humbled and blessed! My background info/stats:

Graduated in 2007 with BSN, GPA 3.5

Took 2 graduate courses: Medical Biochemistry and Advanced anatomy and physiologyy, got As

CCRN

3.5 SICU experience, 2 years at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD- One of the best hospitals in the country, currently at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC in the SICU.

GRE scores not so hot, but I got into 3 schools so I dont think they matter that much 1020. I think my selling piece was my essay/personal statement, it was unique and different than the typical Why I want to Be a CRNA essay, they ALWAYS mentioned my essay during my interviews. Hope this helps! Good luck to you ALL:redbeathe

congrats as well!! I am accepting the seat at Raleigh, I will turn down my other 2 offers and my subsequent interviews at case western and wolford.

What other schools were you accepted to, I think I may be going about this the wrong way. I was applying at only one school at a time, but it sounds like you and others are putting in at numerous schools.

i applied to a total of 6 schools..got 3 interviews and two offers....and one waiting list....

by all means you should be applying to more than one.....ONLY if you have the means of going should you be accepted...if you by some chance cannot apply elsewhere then make absolutely sure you follow up on why you did not get an acceptance offer and then do whatever it is they ask!!!! That is so important!!!!

if you really want to be a CRNA then you should do whatever it takes to get there, at least within reason....fortunately my wife is a RN as well and we have the ability to move anywhere in the US. Just so happens that i was accepted to the Raleigh School and will only have to move 2 hrs away...

Good luck!
