Has anyone previously applied? I applied to the previous cohort in August and received the follow up application but wasn't selected. I applied again for this cohort but didn't receive the follow up application this time around. Wondering since maybe I've already sent one in?

Any update? I may call this week. I heard a rumor that they are unsure about March new graduate program since they have a lot of travelers and may be over staffed? Not sure how true this is.

Oh noo! Where did you hear that from? Did you end up calling for an update?

Two of my friends from Radys both said that they are experiencing a very low census which is odd because this time of year is always very busy, therefore their per diem and on call nurses aren't even getting called in so they might put a "freeze" on hiring any more nurses... haven't heard anything from HR though.

Oh gosh, I really hope that's not true!! Sucha bummer if it is. I hope we hear back soon!

I currently work at Rady Children's as a PCA and can confirm that there was/still sort of is a hiring freeze. I finally heard back from CVICU and was told only PICU and CVICU will be hiring anyone for the March cohort because of low census hospital wide (don't believe they are advertising this to external candidates). They offered interviews this week and I interviewed today. I was told they would have decisions by the end of next week.
