Rady Children's Hospital 2014 RN New Grad

Published

Would anyone mind sharing your experiences for the 2nd interview at Rady? What sort of questions do they ask? How many people in the panel? How long it was? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hey :) I have a 2nd interview at Rady too but I can't find any old threads or information about it. All I know is that the manager told me it will be an hour long, which sounds pretty intense, so I don't really know what to expect.

Hi n33nz and SDseahorse- did you guys already apply for Rady Children's 2014 New Grad program? I was under the impression on the website that applications weren't open yet- that they open this month- in order to start the new grad program this summer? Am I mistaken and have missed the app deadline? Thanks so much for any info you have on this!

Hi sjames99 :) Rady had an app that opened up in early January for a March Cohort, and they should be opening up another app in about a month for a July cohort! So don't worry you didn't miss the deadline for the summer

oh phew- thank you so much n33nz for your reply- i was getting a little nervous there! good luck with this round of applications! thank you again!

Has anyone who applied to the Rady's summer 2014 Residency status changed to yellow? If so what does this mean?

Hi Runnerchick

I applied but my status hasn't changed to yellow.....

Hi Runnerchick,

Mine has not changed from the original status. What does yours now say?

On the application history it says that if there's a change in your app status it will change to yellow. Unfortunately, it does not specify what this means. It could just be that there app is under review. Do you guys have a requisition number? I was wondering if that was it.

The Requisition number is 42677 and my status has read the same since I applied. Just says currently under review etc...

I was called for a heme onc interview last Tuesday and it's tomorrow. It's a full hour, with no essay or first round interview. This seems crazy fast, but I'm really excited, and nervous! Has anyone interviewed there before?

Wow! Congratulations! Did you do clinicals there or did you go to school in San Diego? I know they give priority to that sort of thing. Good luck on the interview! :)
