  1. We could also do something the week of/weekend after (schedule permitting) orientation to get to know each other after we are bombarded with information! I'm moving down very close to orientation, I don't wanna miss out on all the fun :-p
  2. I LOVE this idea! It would be so nice to arrange something to meet our cohort before orientation
  3. im gonna be on heme/onc! I'm so excited! It sounds like our cohort is gonna be awesome :)
  4. Where are you moving from?? I'm moving from Sacramento!
  5. Has anyone else been offered a position?? I'm excited to meet the rest of my cohort! Does anyone from San Diego have suggestions on affordable safe places to live?
  6. I believe they have interviewed and chosen all of their candidates.. But you can always email the recruiter ------------ (her email is on the website) just to be sure
  7. Think more about behavioral questions and examples. Overall, take a breath, be yourself, and believe in yourself. The right job is the right job and this is your opportunity to show what you have to offer! Good luck!
  8. I was offered a position! There is hope for all of you external candidates, GOOD LUCK!
  9. The interview went really well, it was just me and the manager. I had an email requesting references within 5 minutes of leaving so she can make her final decision. Fingers crossed! I get the impression that every unit is timing their interviews based on their schedule, so good luck to everyone waiting!
  10. Thanks so much you guys! I haven't heard of any other units calling yet, so good luck to you!!
  11. I actually have no ties to the hospital- I live in Sacramento and went to school out of state. I'm always hesitant to get too excited though because I know internals are preferenced for most of these new grad programs
  12. I was called for a heme onc interview last Tuesday and it's tomorrow. It's a full hour, with no essay or first round interview. This seems crazy fast, but I'm really excited, and nervous! Has anyone interviewed there before?
  13. I'm not sure...I would guess like 12-15? I didn't hear anything yet but I know someone who did, so I'm not sure what that means.
  14. They told me in my interview that they were first round interviewing "twenty-something" and are hiring 8 for the floor
