Nurses New Nurse

Published

Hi all! This is a thread for those who applied to Rady's 2018 New Grad RN Residency (posting closed 11/22/17). Please share updates and status changes here so we're all in the loop! Thanks! I applied to Med-Behavioral.

I don't know but I would think everyone would be contacted and accepted offers because the residency begins Monday next week

Hey guys! I applied for the Nurse Residency program that starts in July 2018! Anyone else apply???

Are you talking about the Summer program?

I just applied for the summer new grad program and CVICU was my first choice. What was the unit's interview process like? Any tips? Thanks!

I applied last week! CVICU and NICU. What about you?

I applied for NICU as my number one choice!

Hey everyone!

I applied a few weeks ago as well! I applied for CVICU and NICU! I haven't received any information about an interview or an application status change. Prayers and Good luck to everyone! I'll be back to post if I hear anything.

Xo

I also applied a few weeks ago for the summer program with no changes to status yet!

I applied to Hem/Onc and Medical! No changes in status but hoping to hear something soon!

Does anyone know what the typical timeline looks like after applying?

I applied early this month on the 5th, Interviewed for Hem/Onc on the 13th, had my references complete a survey not long after, was told by hiring manager of the unit that I should hear by first week of April, I'm crossing my fingers, anticipation is killing me!

Congrats!!! :) I also applied for Hem/Onc, but much later than you did. I hope I still have a chance! Did your application status change before you heard from them?
