Hi all! This is a thread for those who applied to Rady's 2018 New Grad RN Residency (posting closed 11/22/17). Please share updates and status changes here so we're all in the loop! Thanks! I applied to Med-Behavioral.

I have an interview scheduled this week as well -- med behavioral. My status didn't change. Comically though, my status from my JULY application finally changed! :-) I wouldn't go by the status...

Yay Salsacat, congratulations! That is just SO weird about the status thing.

Don't lose hope, I've heard of waiting 4-6 months to get a call before! haha

I scheduled an interview for the surgical floor on Jan 22nd.. anyone who interviewed yet have any tips?!

I interviewed with the NICU, so I'm not sure how similar it will be, but they were almost all situational, tell us about a time you worked with a difficult person, worked with a team, etc. Best of luck on your interview!!

Anyone hear back from the PICU? Congrats to all of you w an interview!

Hello everyone! So I just found this thread....I thought Rady already called for interviews a long time ago and so I was extremely surprised when I got a phone call last week that I have an interview for this upcoming Friday!!!! I applied for the PICU...the lady on the phone said all the questions will be clinical/situational and so I was wondering if anyone knows what exactly they'll ask? THANKS and GOOD LUCK to everyone! :)

Hey Everyone! It's nice to hear that others are still receiving a call back from Rady. I did have a status change about 2wks ago stating:"Your application has been reviewed and is currently being considered to determine if you are one of the most qualified applicants. Please note that due to the number of applicants, not all will be interviewed. If selected for an interview, the department leadership will contact you." However I haven't heard anything else sense then. Hoping to hear something soon, Best of Luck to all of us!

Nice! Was NICU your first choice? I just assumed because of your posting name:)

Hi Yes NICU #1. 2nd choice medsurg I thought maybe medsurg would be easier to get an interview. I don't know we'll see how it goes.

For people who got interviews, did you all automatically get asked for references via email after your interview?
