Río Hondo Community College ADN - Spring 2026

Published

Hi guys!!

Just wanted to start a forum for the upcoming fall application period: August 15th 2025-September 12th 2025. That way we can help each other with application questions or keep each other updated on acceptance, ineligibility, and rejection.

Wishing everyone the best!! 🙂

Hi, here is a direct copy and paste of what is being requested on the application:

"Provide ATI TEAS results (1st time results accepted only)”

Thank you so much

Hello ,

Does anyone know if they accept only first TEAS score or we can send our highest score

I believe if you took your second test at least a year after the first attempt, you can send in the newer one. However, I would call to make sure. If you send in the wrong transcript or don't send it correctly, they will automatically find you ineligible and tell you to apply again next time

Did you send in your transcripts via ATI website? Because on their website it says "DO NOT submit your TEAS transcripts with your application" and it's confusing me because I saw everyone in the last cohort were deemed ineligible for not sending theirs in. I've already sent my TEAS transcript through ATI but I don't know what to do if I should upload it to my actual application or not... Also. I have called rio hondo ADN directly and the lady was very rude. I asked a question and she blatantly told me "I don't know. I can't tell you how to fill out your application.” 😞 So I'm very lost and disheartened.

I saw on their website that they allow second attempts if it's taken 365 days after the first.

Hi! So I applied last semester but was found ineligible because they had just changed their requirements and I had a class in progress. But I sent my ATIs virtually through the ATI website. Those that were found ineligible didn't do that. I didn't upload the transcript of it in my application. Besides the class needed being in progress, everything else on my application was fine. So you don't need to upload the transcript of the TEAS unless they ask for it which I don't believe they did.

Hi ! So I just wanted to confirm .To submit the TEAS results virtually via ATI  do we just send it to rio hondo college on the ATI website.I just wanted to be sure I did the right thing because on the rio hondo adn page .It said to send the TEAS results via ATI to the health science and nursing division

Yes, it will send it exactly where it needs to go. Just click Rio Hondo college, and they will get it.

Hey everyone,

Now that the window has closed, I would expect to hear back in 5-7 weeks, depending if you were accepted, alternate, ineligible or rejected.

It took 6.5 weeks from the Spring application period closing for me to hear back last time when I was considered ineligible. Basically, those who were accepted heard back first. I would say about a week before we did. Then the alternates heard back a couple days after them. Those who were ineligible heard back next, and then those who were rejected shortly after. Just wanted to give you an estimate on timeline going off of last round.

Also, look out for an email from their administrative assistant. It won't be from "Rio Hondo College" like our application confirmation emails were. Just want to make sure you don't overlook it.

Good Luck everyone!

Thank you for giving the timeline, I was about to ask LOL. I applied last application period on March 2 and got my rejection letter on May 2, incase anyone was interested in a timeline.

Hi, for those who sent in their transcripts through Parchment, does it say it's been downloaded for you guys? 2 of mine say "downloaded" but the other 2 says "sent" and "ready for download" meaning my transcripts are still NOT on file. I've contacted them twice but have still not received an answer. My next move is to just call. Worried this is definitely going to get me DQ'd. Anyone else?

I'm sorry, I'm not sure. All 4 of mine say that they were received and downloaded. I would continue to call to make sure
