  1. I think after Friday, alternates will be notified if they got the position since some people will choose to decline the spot in the nursing program (me loll)
  2. Thank you! I applied to rio hondo, cypress, LBCC, and mt sac. So far I have gotten acceptances from LBCC and mt sac but haven't heard back from the other colleges. I am still considering both of my options since they are both good schools and the same distance from where I live. It's a hard choice!! Don't lose hope! There are bound to be many chances as well as the fact that many people might decline!
  3. Also to clarify, I got the acceptance email on my personal email rather than my school email which was odd but was told by the nursing department that they were having issues with their smartsheet system which is why I received it on my personal email instead.
  4. Hi I just received my acceptance email about an hour ago but will most likely decline since I was accepted elsewhere. Good luck!!
  5. Hey I received the second email but not the actual email regarding if I was accepted or not. I called the nursing department and they said that they are still working on sending out the acceptance/declined emails and they should have them all sent out by 1 pm today. I'm really bummed bc I applied with high points too ?
  6. Yes I can't believe it too. I also got accepted thankfully!! I had 91 points for anyone wondering
  7. I just closed the tab and reopened the link that was sent to my email. I think it only works if you use the link that was sent to you
  8. OMG I got that too and was so scared bc my points were really high and am afraid they won't accept me bc of the lack of documents. I emailed Marc Smith and he told me to do the application again but the system may not allow it. Thankfully I was able to submit it again. I realized that I had put too large of a document at first so I put the individual documents and had to make sure they uploaded bc sometimes they still didn't upload. I really hope they accept the second version for all of us and I am relieved to know this didn't just happen to me so maybe they will be more lenient.
  9. Thank you for giving the timeline, I was about to ask LOL. I applied last application period on March 2 and got my rejection letter on May 2, incase anyone was interested in a timeline.
  10. Hi today I received an email about the counselor appointment. Does this mean I was accepted?? Good luck everyone!
  11. I personally haven't taken the TEAS at mt. sac yet but I have taken the TEAS 7 this past year at another school. I called the Nursing Department about the math portion and if we were allowed to use the online calculator that was provided. They told me that although there is an online calculator, you are not allowed to use it and they are watching our screens to make sure we don't use the calculator.
  12. ohh I see, maybe I should change mine to that too. I completed the registration form on the 5th which was the day they sent it and they emailed me back with confirmation on the 11th.
  13. I put non degree seeking bc I don't have the degree yet obviously LOL but I was also confused too.
  14. The person I spoke with mentioned using the mt sac email. I just wanted to be safe rather than sorry so I created a new account.
