I actually work on a L/D; PP floor and we see a lot of surg OB pts that have had hysters or C-Sections. If you are planning to go into L/D or PP then you might think about doing that for your internship and you will most likely get the post op pts as well.
It's like killing two birds with one stone. If your love is going to lie elsewhere though, you might consider what type of nursing you plan to do when you are done with school.

:welcome: I'm going to start the internship in 2 wks, can anyone gives me some advice from where i should start with.
med, surg, ICU, ER, Geriatric, postpartum.
My choice is either med or surg, b/c i think i will learn more from it.
but i ' m here seeking advice. ^.^
