Quinnipiac accelerated BSN fall 2014 hopefuls

Anyone applying to Quinnipiac's Accelerated BSN program for Fall 2014? I wanted to see how everyone is doing with the application process and if there are any current accelerated BSN students that could talk about the admissions process, and how the program is going for them.

I'm applying, too! Haven't really done much yet seeing as how the deadline is a little bit far compared to some of the other schools I am applying to! What are some of you guy stats? (Age, school, med experience, GPA, etc):

I finished applying, QU is my first choice school so I wanted it completed and finished as soon as I could! But i'm 22, I just graduated with a B.S in Health Promotion and graduated with a 3.8. The only medical experience I have is an internship I did in a doctors office for 4 months. How about you guys? also what other schools is everyone applying to?

i applied too however i just realized they aren't accredited by the CCNE yet... it's in progress so hopefully it goes through :/. 23 graduated with a BS in Health Science, I have hospital volunteer experience here and a months worth abroad in Thailand. Also did a internship for a year during college, GPA is 3.5-3.6

yes your right. I believe that is the regional accreditation though. CCNE is the national one? I'm not sure how much it matters but it would just make me feel better if it went through! Do you know how long it takes for them to make a decision?

I am also curious when QU starts notifying applicants of admission decisions. If anyone knows when they mailed out decisions for last cohort it would be useful! :)

I saw on their website that they start notifying people March 1st.

I am also applying!! They do not make decisions until March unfortunately. I am 24, graduated with my Bachelors in education. I do not have much hospital experience other than that I just started volunteering at one. In terms of the application process, I have submitted my basic application but still need to send in transcripts and references.

When is the due date for fall 2014 admission, again? & when did the application open up??

I believe the deadline is January 2nd, and the application either opened August 1st or September 1st!
