Quinnipiac ABSN 2020

Hello all! The application cycle is open and I wanted to start a thread for anyone applying so I can stop re-reading previous years threads, haha. My application is pretty much finished but I'm waiting for this semester to end so I can add my A&P II grade to the app. How is everyone doing with their apps? Also, any previous or current students input would be great :-). Good luck everyone!

Hey guys! For those accepted any idea about tuition? I heard somewhere that is about $70k? How are you guys planning to pay? My only fear is I may not be able to afford this school.. thoughts? How good is this school with scholarships? I know that since we have our first bachelors we don’t get much financial aid???!

was it just updated today?!

oh man sorry for this late response: with all the coronavirus insanity, I forgot about allnurses: I figure all schools will be slow with responding.

to actually answer your question: it was updated for me on March 11th like some other students.

Just got my status update today.. didn't get in. Don't know why they waited so long to do that when so many people got theirs two weeks ago. I am very confused as to why I did not get in.. for A&P I and II I got A, Stats A, Micro B-, and been working as a CNA for four years, one of those years in a hospital. I'm at a loss guys.

I did see that but I’m missing some prerequisites they require even though I got my premed degree from them LOL. But thank you for the thought I appreciate it! I may just apply for a regular 4 year program and hope a ton of my credits transfer over.

Let me know how it goes! If I don’t get into SHU I’m going to do the same LOL. I’m the same way, got a health sciences degree from UConn and work in a hospital as a PCT. I don’t know what else to do!

They didn’t say if they have spots available but when I asked the deadline he said they’re still taking applications and I should hear back very soon once submitted. I think it’s a fairy new program for them, and they keep taking apps until the program is full

Hey everyone! CONGRATS to those accepted!

I am currently deciding between this program and UMass Amherst’s. Due to COVID and campuses being closed, I was wondering if anyone on here had toured and had information? Specifically about where we do our clinicals!! Thank you so much, any info would be much appreciated ?

Also, has anyone made a facebook group yet?

I don’t think so. I was wondering the same thing

I reached out and officially declined today, hopefully someone who's waitlisted hears back. Good luck to everyone
