yeh, but is there anything, stating it needs to be an RN?...I do think it sounds a bit much, I just ned a job, just relocated to lawrenceburg area...but I won't do what i am uncomfortable with, I am a very hard worker, and consider myself a very good nurse...thanks......

As far as I know in the state of Indiana there only has to be one RN per 24 hour period. Correct me if I am wrong.

I asked a RN friend in LTC, she said only 1 RN in 24 hr period.....

Depends how the LTC regulations are written in your state. Where I live it is one RN for every 50 residents in a 24 hour period. DON, ADON, Inservice RN, Quality Improvement RN all count so 200 patients with NO direct RN care givers unless on the Meidcare unit. Medicare unit one RN each shift. Good Luck.
