Questions about Seton Versant RN Residency in Austin

I have just been accepted into the Seton RN residency and can answer any questions you may have. I will also be creating a post throughout my experience in the residency. Ask away!

aed727 - at the open house last Tuesday, they mentioned that they were still working on the emails. I am hoping to get it this week like I said, though if I don't receive it by tomorrow, I am going to email them just to keep on top of it. I do not want to miss out on an email either.

I haven't received my email about the second round either, but I did call to confirm last week that everything had been received. It's just taking them a while to process everything.

Did anyone happen to get the email to the hiring manager of the NICU? I got her name (I think), but I felt so rushed with everyone else around me that I didn't grab her card. I know we're not supposed to put names or emails here, but if someone could message me that would be a great help!

I'm LaKiesha!!! At the open house, they said that they won't be sending out 2nd round emails until wednesday!! I applied to NICU, L&D and ER. Good luck to everyone :)

ctbsn- I did not speak with nicu. Did you get both first and last name? From what I can tell it is usually the first initial of the first name and then last name @seton.org.

LaKeisha- thanks for the info, I somehow missed that last week! What was the census on L&D spots available? I have a lot of classmates interested.

I got the last name, but I'm not sure about the first name. :\ I believe she was either from Brack or Northwest. The main recruiting guy who was the first to present to us during all those Powerpoints just kind of pushed me in her direction so I was a little flustered at first.
