I have just been accepted into the Seton RN residency and can answer any questions you may have. I will also be creating a post throughout my experience in the residency. Ask away!

Hey! My last email was that my application was complete but my review date has not been determined but versant manager just yet and the steps after that it will be forwarded to HR and Nigia Brown will reply with more instructions

Well it sounds like they have given you the upcoming steps and what to expect. Could your references taken longer to complete their part than expected? Hopefully you will receive the next email by the end of the week. I know it can be unsettling to have your application status in suspense like this, but hopefully it will all work itself out sooner rather than later.

It's probably just going to take some time because I got that email the first week of September- but I also applied right after it opened up in August. Unfortunately you just have to wait it out ;/ Are you still in school at least to keep you busy?

Yeah y'all are right. Yeah I'm still in school but hopefully it will be completed by end of next week. That is all I care about! But thanks for helping out y'all are awesome! Would love to be coworkers with ya!

ktlam, I am signed up for the 1pm slot. I will literally be heading from there back to the airport! And my stuff is listed as routed as well. Would not have checked if botoxbaby hadn't mentioned it. Thanks!

I'm going to the open house at 1 also and am also being routed :) I'm graduating in December and we are supposed to find out where our role transition is within the next day or so, so I am freaking out about that as well! Ah too much going on in life right now. As long as everything works out, it will all be worth it in the end :)

Oh, but I also got an email stating my school didn't show up in the application form on their end and to go back and enter it....whahhhhhh! Hope that doesn't cause a delay.

Any other out-of-staters run into this? Should I be entering a code for my school or just the school name? Perhaps I am doing something wrong?

I just typed in my school name because all they had was Texas schools. I didnt enter a code. Hope that helps!

I just finallllly received my letter stating my application has been routed to HR after all that whining LOL. Thanks for bearing with me guys!! and I doubt that the school name will delay any process in the application. :) happy girl now

Like a dutiful nurse-to-be, I covered all bases: I replied to the email with the information, I updated the application, AND called. LOL. I got an immediate reply by email stating all was good. So now the ball seems to be rolling along for everyone...

Next stop on the Application Express, Open House... :yes:

Anyone been to an Open House before? How is it run? Do we walk from station to station and talk to different unit representatives, similar to a job fair? And will it be super crowded, considering the applicant pool? Just want to know want I am walking into...
